No amount of words can really capture how much Trail Magic made our wedding dreams come true. When we first met Hannah and Becca, we were overwhelmed with the whole idea of planning a wedding. After that first meeting, everything shifted. We felt calmer, more excited, and like we actually had a path forward.

From day one, they weren’t just planners and photographers; They felt like friends who we could toss ideas around with, ask questions, and lean on for honest advice about what would (and wouldn’t) make the day smooth and fun.

Hannah’s photography was exactly what we were looking for: natural, timeless editing, and an incredible mix of shots and all the little in-between moments we’ll treasure forever. We still don’t know how she managed to be everywhere at once, but she captured it all. Becca kept the planning process detailed and organized, but always made it feel simple and stress-free. Your Step-by-Step Guide to the Custom Package Building Process:

FIll out our contact form! Tell us about your love, your dream day, and what you are looking for in a planner and photographer. We will be in touch within 48 hours!
We’ll send you a link to our call scheduler in our response to your inquiry. Pick a time that works best for you! If there is nothing that fits your schedule, let us know and we will figure out an alternative!
We hop on a call together to chat all things getting hitched! We’ll bounce ideas around, learn about your vision, and get to know each other to see if you feel we are the perfect fit for your needs. Just bring the beginnings of your vision and any questions you may have! We’ll handle the rest.

After we chat, we’ll get to business building you a fully customized package proposal. We’ll curate 2-4 options depending on how honed in your vision is. We’ll recommend what we think is the best fit, but ultimately this decision is yours! We want you to feel fully confident in all of the decisions you are making in your planning process- ESPECIALLY in your decision to work with us as the most involved vendors in your day.
Once you have filled out your proposal form and selected your package of choice, we’ll get the biz tasks managed. We’ll send you the link to sign your contract with us, and the link to pay your $2,000 retainer. You’ll have the option to set up autopay for your payment plan at this step as well.
The planning process begins with a welcome call with you two, Hannah, and Becca! We’ll talk through the timeline of your planning process, identify your most pressing priorities, walk you through your personalized planning portal, and then hit the ground running from there!

Becca has amazing communication all throughout the planning process and was such a blessing with helping to find catering for my micro wedding guests, and a HMUA for myself on the wedding day. Even once we arrived in the area and I had some concerns with the weather, Becca was incredible with finding recommendations for heaters and trying to make us and our guests as comfortable as possible.

I highly recommend them and would not have traded the memories with them and how they supported us on our wedding day for anything! By the end of the wedding day they felt like friends and were so personable and friendly on every call for planning which put us at ease for a smooth wedding day. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Hannah is an AMAZING photographer and the photos she captured for us on Black Balsam Knob in NC, surrounding parkway stop offs, and at our Airbnb are unimaginable. Our favorites are hard to choose.

Frequently Asked Questions

As soon as you know you have interest in working with us! We work with a wide range of planning timelines for both elopements and micro-weddings. There is no one-size-fits all answer to this question. We will be fully transparent about what you can expect, whether it be 2 months out of 12 months out from your desired date.
Please note our 2027 calendar will open in late February of 2026. If you would like to join our wait-list, feel free to reach out!
Because everyone’s wedding days are so different. our packages are all custom built. With that said, you are investing in two vendors when you invest in our services, and that is reflected in our package costs. You do not! We love when couples come to us with some date flexibility. We will chat through your priorities together and offer date suggestions based on your desires and our travel schedule.
We communicate primarily through email! You will have access to our phone numbers for quick questions via text (we will answer when available to do so).
Planning calls are scheduled via a call scheduler in your planning portal. Becca will communicate when she feels a call is needed, but you are welcome to communicate when you are needing one as well!
Ultimately, the planning process can be as hands-on or hands-off as you would like. Your communication desires will be discussed upon booking.

Hannah lives in Colorado, and Becca in Western North Carolina. We have deep ties and attachments to both places, and couldn't pick just one! So we monopolize on the best times of year in each- spring in North Carolina for lush green vibes and perfect temps, summer in Colorado for wildflowers and warmth at elevation, and bits of fall in each state! The aspens peak in Colorado in September, while WNC’s colors pop off in mid-late October. We are happy to work anywhere in Colorado or WNC, but some of our favorite spots include:
Crested Butte, The San Juans, Granby, and Boulder/Longmont in CO.
The Smokies, Roan Highlands, the Waynesville/Sylva & Brevard areas in NC.
We come as a packaged deal! Not just because we are real life besties, but because we truly feel that our partnership is what makes our experience so great! We balance each other and work together in ways that only benefit you! Levels of each of our services/involvement can vary depending on needs, but we do not operate separately.
Our packages include our services, and do not include outside services. Becca will be your liaison with other vendors, but you will pay them directly for their services. Every services included in your package will be detailed in your proposal and contract.
You know what they say… rain on a wedding day is lucky! With that said, your safety is of upmost important to us, and we aren’t exactly traditional in the way our weddings run. We do not book any weddings/elopements back to back, and leave flexibility to pivot timelines for elopements in case of inclement weather. For micro-weddings, we will work together to formulate a backup weather plan. Not every day is going to be sunshiny and warm, but we assure you that some of our favorite days have happened in less than ideal weather! Not to mention, some cloud cover often makes for the best photos!
